The tournament will host a men’s and ladies’ competition. Men will play In 2 Touch Tournament Rules (Squads of 10, 5 players on the field) and Ladies will play the international version of 6 Down Touch(Squads of 12 with 6 players on the field). Teams can expect to play a round robin followed by knockout games. The games are 12 minutes.

In 2 Touch was founded in the summer of 1995 in South Africa when the opportunity to start a small touch rugby league in Johannesburg materialized. Since that date, the In 2 Touch brand has expanded throughout South Africa, the UK, and New Zealand and at its peak more than 1000 Teams were competing in In2 Touch Leagues on a weekly basis! Grass leagues take place throughout the year on midweek evenings around the Cape. Monday evenings in the Northern Suburbs at the Brackenfell and Kraaifontein Rugby Clubs (men’s 1 Touch), Wednesday evenings at the Villager Football Club in Claremont (Men’s, Ladies and Mixed 6-Down) and at Central Park, Century City on Thursday Nights (Men’s 1 Touch).
